Purpose
This procedure establishes the step-by-step process for implementing comprehensive transparency and information disclosure requirements for AI systems in compliance with EU AI Act Article 13 (Transparency and Information to Deployers) and Article 50 (Transparency for Users). It ensures that all stakeholders receive clear, accurate, and accessible information about AI systems throughout their lifecycle.
Applies To
- All high-risk AI systems per Annex III of the EU AI Act
- All AI systems that interact with natural persons
- All AI systems requiring user disclosure (emotion recognition, biometric categorization, deepfakes)
- All AI systems requiring explainability of decisions
- All provider and deployer transparency obligations
Does Not Apply To
- Minimal-risk AI systems without user interaction (unless specifically requested)
- Internal testing systems not deployed to users
- Research prototypes not placed on the market
